"Dipping in" to sessions
« on: July 29, 2013, 03:03:26 pm »
I walk to work (and back again) which takes me about 5 minutes.  I want to use razor sharp or creative spark or even happy pill - or one of the nitro tracks - is it ok to "dip in".   I would start the track when I set off but probably switch off when I get to work.   Everyone has gone off to a meeting, so I can pick it up again for 10 mins.  When I walk home at lunchtime I want to switch back on.

Am I losing anything by listening to just a small part of the track or starting mid way through?

Many thanks
Silver

Hi Silver,

It is OK to do this.  You get more out of it if you can listen to the whole track but you will get some benefit from a little here or there as you can.

Isn't there something about it taking six minutes to initially respond to brainwave entrainment? And doesn't starting in the middle skip over the initial ramping from beta to the target frequency?

Yes Inedible, its not an ideal way of listening.
