Do You Have to Be "Still" When Doing BWE?
« on: May 13, 2015, 10:11:27 pm »
I've read where some say you can listen to isochronic tones/binaural beats while, say, doing normal day-to-day tasks.

Others say that you have to be still, comfortable, eyes closed, etc. in order for BWE to work.

Which is it?  Or does it "depend?"

The answer is, 'it depends'.  Basically, it depends on what you are doing, what frequencies you are entraining to, and what you expect to get out of it.  If you listen to something like "Sleep Salon" while exercising because you want to fall asleep, good luck!  It will probably have some effect, but it is probably not going to put you to sleep.  You'd be much better off laying down doing nothing with your eyes closed.

However, if you're listening to entrainment that is intended to help you focus so you can be more productive while working, but you are laying down with your eyes closed doing nothing, good luck!  It will probably have some effect, but not the one you are seeking!

For BrainEv, you might have some effect if your eyes are open and you are active but you are better off in the eyes closed doing nothing mode.
