Listening to silva tape
« on: February 23, 2009, 06:52:32 pm »
Hi,
i have heard that you are not supposed to listen to other binaural tapes when you are working with brain ev. i understand why.
My question is . is it okay to listen to a silva tape at a different time than brain ev.  Silva uses a metronome at the alpha level.
Thanks
Don

The Silva materials I copied from my local library said that it is better to go to theta than alpha, so that when you receive information and then actively think about it you will only rise up to alpha rather than starting in alpha and returning to beta. I used binaurals to learn to go to level and did the technique from memory, the long relax. Maybe it would be an option to learn the sequence in beta and then do the long relax while using your BrainEv, as an alternative to actually combining the audio. Is that better or worse?
