Hi Magnoliaz, that's great to hear!

I agree that the level support videos are a great asset.

Definitely do not fight any involuntary or "instinctual" responses. Your body is responding for a reason and you don't want to fight that!

Infinite is right - it's probably not a waste of time at all! You're welcome to extend your listening time on the session if you like, no harm in that.
You may also want to reflect on how you would've reacted to these negative events before BrainEv and how you are processing them now.  What differences are apparent? Sometimes we don't realize how far we have come until we are tested.

Hi Morandia,

A physical response to brainwave entrainment is very normal. Some people feel tingles or slight pressures on the body or in the head as your brain begins to register the entrainment technology and begin to emulate it.

Hi Infinite!  I love reading your experiences as you go through the program again.

I think the timing being off is a good way to put it when you are in level 2 and why it gets a lot of "hate". Some people cannot deal with the upheaval as they work through this phase and we see a lot of people quit.

I don't think it is anything to worry about.  I always find it reassuring when things get difficult, that means you are making growth progress.

No, the underlying brainwave entrainment frequencies that are used in our programs are not the same. Different tones and frequencies are used based on the purpose of the program.

Nitrofocus Experiences & Questions / Re: Customer Service?

I think sometimes people have trouble with the support email for nitrofocus.  I see it mistyped quite frequently as it's a bit unwieldly - [email protected].

You can always email [email protected] and it goes to the same place.

Search around on here and you will find lots of insight on sleeping - pros and cons.

Really the worst thing you can do is fight with the audio.  Just sit and listen.  If your mind wanders, let it.  Don't spend your time unrelaxed and frustrated if you can't keep your mind still.

Getting Started Questions / Re: IPOd not playing the tracks

Hi Ricardo,

Some versions of iPods have trouble with our tracks since they contain album art.  Please send an email to [email protected] and let me know you need the iPod version of the download links and I will send them over.

It sounds like what you are experiencing is normal.

Sleepiness is a normal reaction to the entrainment sessions.  Sometimes this is brought on by the extreme relaxation that can occur.  Other times, it is a stress reaction from the brain in response to the entrainment.  Our program forces the brain to work in a way that it hasn't had to before and, like muscle, it will sometimes resist this activity at first.

Here are some tips that can help:

1) Try changing position from laying down to sitting up
2) Hold onto an object in a way that will allow you to drop it if you fall asleep.  Something like a pen or other small (non-breakable!) object works well.
3) You may want to try changing your position while listening or adjusting the volume up and down to see if you can find a way to keep awake.
