Announcement: Forum Closing! / The BrainEv Forum is Closing!
« on: April 04, 2016, 09:47:27 am »
Hello Gang! :-)

After being online for over 8 years, it's finally time to close the doors on the BrainEv Forum.

With over 70,000 posts and almost 38,000 members -- with 1125 members online at the same time at the height of its popularity -- the forum has certainly been a great place for meditation fans to come together.

However over the past 18 months, as users have shifted more toward social media and email support, interaction in the forum has dropped.

That means we've had to make the decision whether to continue supporting a very quiet forum... or whether to put all of our energy into providing great service through our other modes of contact.

As a result, we've decided to close the doors on our forum.

The forum will no longer be allowing new registrations, although it will continue to remain online as a historical resources for all.

BrainEv is still burning bright and will continue to be sold at the official site at http://brainev.com/

Support can be received by simply emailing [email protected] -- or you can ping our team on Twitter @inspire3

A big thank you to everyone for their support over the past 8 years, and for furthering our understanding and enjoyment of brainwave entrainment :-)

Kind wishes,

Karl @teamkarl

Apologies for sounding like a Dad with all the warnings ;)

BrainEv is a little wonder, although the results are more progressive and not as quick fix as Nitrofocus!

Nitrofocus Experiences & Questions / Re: trial of nitrofocus

@Inedible -- You ask some brilliant questions!

As for the frequencies, here's the official user guide:

http://www.nitrofocus.com/userguide

It lists all of the frequencies for each session. The demo is just a cut-down version of Nitrofocus Classic.

You should definitely be able to download everything 7 days after your trial has started :)

Just email [email protected] and they can resend your links.

Any problems, mail me direct - [email protected] - and I'll sort your issues out personally.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Claire! :)

You're a real experimenter, THANK YOU for sharing!

I should however really point out that brainwave entrainment shouldn't be used when operating machinery, driving, or doing anything that requires you to stay awake -- as per our warnings at http://support.brainev.com/

Typically, this applies to low-frequency brainwave entrainment audio, which can send you into states of super-relaxation, and possibly cause you to drift asleep while doing something you may need to focus on. Clearly this isn't the intended intention of Nitrofocus at all, which uses higher frequencies typically, but we still stick with that general warning. In individuals with epilepsy, there is also a remote chance that it could trigger an attack, which you wouldn't want, especially while driving/etc.

Something to consider anyway, but thanks again for sharing your story... :D

Just had this question sent to me by a potential user of the program, and thought I'd share my response...

What's the difference between Nitrofocus and the Brain Salon?

The two programs are really very different, although it's easy to get confused. Let's try to explain the difference now.

Nitrofocus is a program specifically designed to help enhance your concentration.

It consists of a dozen brainwave entrainment MP3s in total, each designed to help support improve your focus in different ways.

Of these sessions, five are the "main" focus audio sessions, lasting 60 minutes each. These sessions can be played on repeat, and are each designed to match your mood. For example, there is a focus MP3 for the gym, one for listening when you want to be more creative, one for listening later at night, and so on.

So, Nitrofocus = comprehensive brainwave program for increasing focus and productivity levels.

The Brain Salon is a series of six brainwave entrainment MP3 "shots" to help change your state.

Each MP3 is 30 minutes in length, and there are sessions for focus, relaxation, mood improvement, creativity, sleep and energy. Simply play the session to activate that state of mind.

So, Brain Salon = quick-fix MP3s for changing how you feel.

To answer the question: yes, there is slight overlap between the two programs, although there are really quite different. Nitrofocus is a substantial program specifically designed for focus and productivity, with a whole host of sessions to support that process. The Brain Salon is a "pick-and-mix" of MP3s providing access to common states, quickly -- one of which is focus.

If you're specifically looking for enhanced focus and greater productivity, then trying out Nitrofocus is a must. It's a powerful and comprehensive program built on the latest brainwave entrainment audio technology. If you're happy with just a little improved focus every now and then, the 'Razor Sharp' MP3 inside the Brain Salon should suffice.

You're an inspiration, Claire -- thanks for really taking on Nitrofocus head-on, and sharing your results!!

Nitrofocus Experiences & Questions / Re: Nitrofocus Workout
« on: July 12, 2013, 09:12:28 am »
Nitrofocus Workout is like a high-energy Ibiza mix!!

It's definitely the one to listen to when working out, or cleaning the house. I wouldn't say you should be using this when clearing your emails!

Dreamer: The 15-minute sample is just the basic Nitrofocus Classic session. The full version (60 minutes) is free and comes with the trial. There are also four extra 60-minute sessions available to full VIP customers, to help match their moods... ie, Nitrofocus Workout for high energy, Nitrofocus Ocean for relaxing into the evening, etc, etc.

Another quick tip, Claire: You can use Nitrofocus Classic and actually play your own music in the background. The results aren't as powerful, but at least you'll be able to sing along :)

BRILLIANT!

Thank you very much for sharing your experience, Claire :)

I really love the results I get from Nitrofocus too.

When I slip on the headphones in front of my PC, time just flies by -- and within a couple of hours, I've done a day's work -- yet still feel totally refreshed and raring to go!

Of course, I would say that -- so the scientist inside me advises people new to this to experiment with it themselves.

There is a free 15-minute Nitrofocus demo here - http://nitrofocus.com/gift

Nitrofocus Experiences & Questions / Re: trial of nitrofocus

Hi there!

Thanks for your message :)

It definitely doesn't cost $97 a week!! This was a glitch with the SWREG report email for a few days, I believe.

It's free for the first week, then one final payment of $97. Nothing else. I'm glad you're liking it Claire, and hope this answers your question! :)

Syslibrarian: The "glitchy" spots. Which session are these in? The sounds *do* sound a little strange, beaty, pulsing, to someone not used to brainwave entrainment. This is perfectly normal. There should be any actual stops in the audio though.

Thanks!

Karl :)

Thanks for sharing! :)

That's really brilliant to hear, and definitely I experience the same.

I've used brainwave entrainment to help boost my focus for years now. It's a huge and key benefit to me.

I'm also running a webinar on other focus techniques here too, just for your reference: http://nitrofocus.com/webinar  (it's free)

Thanks and do let us know how your experience continues!

Karl

Hello Everyone!

Many of you really love the awesome sounds on the Brain Evolution System CDs :)

Those brilliantly intricate noises of babbling brooks and nature, all hand-crafted and modified to deliver the greatest brainwave experience possible.

You can see pictures of the sounds being originally recorded here:

http://support.brainev.com/frequently-asked-questions/where-were-the-brainev-nature-sounds-recorded

Well, I went to visit Dovedale on Saturday and created a little video to show you the location itself. Click here:

Dovedale - Sound Location for BrainEv

Those sitting the BrainEv programs will recognize the sounds instantly :)

Enjoy and thanks,

Karl

Getting Started Questions / Re: Loud humming and drumming
« on: April 23, 2013, 11:49:52 am »
Hello Claudia,

And a big welcome to the BrainEv forum :)

It sounds like you're picking up on some of the brainwave entrainment portions of the program.

Could it be that you're focusing too much on the audio, rather than just letting it happen in the background?

When you say aggressive, what do you mean?

Are you following the instructions correctly -- and not listening more than once a day, and starting on Level One?

If you listen multiple times at first, you might get a little overloaded!

Thanks,

Karl

How It Changed My Life - NEW / Transcendental Meditation with BrainEv
« on: March 07, 2013, 12:10:46 pm »
Hi Gang :)

Just received this by email, and thought I'd share:

---

"I started Level One just one week ago. I did want to write and tell you how impressed I am with the program. I have practiced Transcendental Meditation for approximately 40 years, and my meditations had often seemed 'stale' over the years. Since beginning the BrainEv program, I have gotten in the habit of listening to the entrainment recording first thing in the morning, and can hardly wait to meditate afterwards. I notice that I am much more relaxed in any normally stressful situation; not reactive as I had been at times, ie, in heavy traffic, and simply able to observe myself if I am about to fall into a previous reactive pattern and either allow myself to 'indulge' for a moment or so, or stop it immediately. Yesterday, on my day off from listening to the recording, I felt like something was missing from my day. Today, listening to the recording was an awesome experience; it seemed as if I could feel my own personal vibration throughout the second half of the session, and experienced a very deep and satisfying meditation afterwards. I just know I'm going to have an awesome day! Thank you for everything you've done to make this program available to the public. I have no doubt whatsoever that it will have a phenomenal impact on my quality of life and my personal inner growth, based strictly on my own experience of this past week. With best wishes and my deepest gratitude"
